Lions were spotted on the Skukuza Golf Course yesterday morning, and they were in the same spot this morning.
The Skukuza Golf Club Facebook page upload the pictures yesterday “Had 8 lion enjoying the shade on the 5th teebox this morning, seems like the lions know it’s going to be in the high 40’s today” they posted on their page.
According to their website the golf course was built in 1972 as a recreational facility for the Skukuza staff, and is now available to visitors to the Kruger National Park, the golf course is located on the outskirts of Skukuza Rest Camp.
Since the course is not fenced-in, spectators are a common sight at the course, hippo, crocodiles, elephant are usually spotted around the course, and yesterday it was lions.
The high temperatures made the lions stay put because they didn’t move much from the area they were in.
This morning the lions were seen chasing away some hyenas
