A new luxurious lodge has been added to the Greater Kruger, &Beyond Tengile River Lodge has recently opened and it’s what bush holiday dreams are made of.
Sabi Sands is a game reserve found in the Greater Kruger and in our opinion they do not have any lodges that someone wouldn’t mind staying in. Londolozi is on our bucket list because they are known for the best leopard sightings and other lodges such as Mala Mala provide chances to see popular male lions such as the Birmingham male lion.
If you read the News24 article about the 10 coolest places for Instragram photos in South Africa you would have seen that Sabi Sands was one of those places, and that is because you get to experience the big five while still having a five star experience.
&Beyond Tengile River Lodge is no different to the lodges already available. The lodge overlooks the Sand river while still being secluded in order to provide a tranquil atmosphere. The lodge boosts only nine secluded suites, which include a master bedroom, bathroom and a private outdoor shower, there is a lounge, dining area, and a bar with a private deck and a swimming pool.
They offer different activities to choose from such as, two daily game drives, bush walks and after a long morning drive you can spend time at the gym or relax at the spa.
Prices start from R20500 per person sharing, the price includes accommodation, three meals a day, beverages, laundry, safari activity, one hour bush walk and transfer from and to Skukuza Airport.
If you would like to visit the lodge with your family, a family suite rate starts from R71750 per villa with a maximum of 4 guests.
As much as we love the different camps inside the Kruger we wouldn’t mind staying here for a few days.
